Burn 3

THE AMAZON TOP 100 NEW ADULT BESTSELLER CONTINUES!

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU WERE CHARGED FOR A MURDER YOU DID NOT COMMIT?

The clock to Devon’s murder trial date is ticking. Not convinced the NYPD has their best interests at heart, he and Abby attempt to find the real murderer before Devon can be convicted.

But the clues on their path are often vague. Who would want to kill Rachel Krieg, Abby’s former boss and Devon’s sex client? Her slimy younger brother? Her obsessive ex-boyfriend? The mysterious man who calls on her for sex occasionally, and who also happens to have the hots for Devon’s ass?

Then Abby gets unexpected visitors from her hometown who intend to punish her severely for her past.

BURN 3 is the third book in the BURN sensual New Adult series. It is approximately 30,000 words. This book will resolve Rachel Krieg’s murder, but is by no means the last in the series.

The club inside is dark but lighted up periodically by flashing strobe lamps – all robust with glaring colors. People are dancing in there and a lot of flesh is displayed. Nude breasts jiggle. Naked bums waggle. In the alcoves, people are grinding against each other, and more than one couple is engaged in fellatio.

But it is the stage upfront that becomes the centerpiece. Justice’s hands roam across and grope Devon’s buttocks as the bigger man shepherds him to the front so that they can get a good view.

“You a virgin to this, fishie?” Justice’s breath is hot in Devon’s ear. His hands go to the front to grab Devon’s crotch.

OK, this is bordering on molestation now.

Devon firmly grasps the man’s hand on his crotch and pushes it away.

“I didn’t want you to pay my cover charge for me and I don’t want you to manhandle me now, OK?”

It is difficult to make himself heard above the din, but he certainly is going to try. Besides, he is tired of being a victim. He is tired of being pushed and pulled one way or another; tired of being used like a sex doll to feed everyone’s seeming rampant need of him.

The big man is surprised, but only for a fleeting moment. Then he chuckles and reaches out to stroke Devon’s face. Devon flinches and stops Justice’s hand again. He meets Justice’s stare.

“What part of the word ‘NO” did you not understand?”

Justice opens his mouth to say something, but before anything can happen, a deep voice to Devon’s right says:

“Let the boy go, Justice. You don’t want him to yell ‘rape’, do you?”

Devon turns. The pale face of the man he has come to know as Mandingo fronts him. Devon’s stomach flutters.

I’ve found him!
